Not much brain. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I didn’t say I don’t have any anxiety. I just mean it’s probably better to keep it low instead of riding the anxiety wave all day, every day.
But yes, sometimes anxiety is what it takes to really get going.
I guess it just makes a very stressed human being, which is not healthy at all in the long run, neither psychically nor physically.
So what…?
Not everybody is living in the “default country” and also, with the US we see how well it all works for them and how slavery is not a thing there at all.
Look, I don’t know which country you live in but if you’re worried it might make you a slave, you should riot (if at all possible, that is). Be part of the opposition.
A government that isn’t governing you … yet and that has no ambitions (/s) to take over as much power as possible in the country you live in, you mean?
Good fucking riddance.
I have been using Linux since 2007. I have never had to update video drivers manually.
Sure, I don’t do gaming. But neither do most grandmothers.
I’ll actually try this right away tomorrow morning when I get to do my work, concluding that I want to get shit done because of my bad-conscience-induced stomach ache.
I use GPSLogger to create my monthly travel log for my employer. You can fine-tune it pretty well and it works almost as well as Google’s location timeline while not having to rely on Google’s appetite for personal data.
I use its built-in ssh upload feature to get my data transferred to my SBC at home.
What a bs. This applies even to hypoglycemia.
Since this is Lemmy, I would like to link to Freesewing.
Create an account, enter your measurements, and you will be able to download free sewing patterns made to measure!
I had a similar issue on a new out of the box HP Prodesk. Independently of the distro I was running it wouldn’t want to wake up from standby. Turned out to be an (firmware?) issue with the SSD. After replacing it everything worked fine.
What’s the difference between Logseq and Anytype? And how do both compare to Joplin?
So far I have been using Logseq and find it good but a little too complicated and somehow bland.
Google’s and Meta’s main business are ads?? I do doubt this! Their main business is hoarding data about you and everybody and selling that data to anyone willing to buy it.
I can even nod and make “m-hmm” sounds where appropriate and still be somewhere completely different in my mind!
If you want a successor to the Pebble, also consider Bangle.js 2. It’s a little more expensive compared with the PineTime but I got one and I’m very happy!
I am a bananaaaaa!
