  • Yeah i dont watch the news because the news hasn’t been about telling factual storys, every station is biased. And im tired of the political news stations and the shock factor storys. Instead of actual reporting they would rather talk about dumb little things or heavly misleading and perspective bending storys. Thats why i switched to lemmy, its everbody oppions fedirated. So ideally its more of a mutal consisis and constructive rather than censorship on outlet spewing slop. And i never was good in english class for grammer, which is mostly my fault. And i apologize if i came off rude, i dont like when people go online and assume just because people have different opinions means there “Woke” or racist or somthing. And i appreciate not interacting on a platform where is internet slop and circle jerking. If you wanna have a diffrent oppion and judge a book, then thats on you. I wish you the best.

  • Buddy i was comparing them for as they both lack real basis. And im not a nazi or a racist im simply being unbiased. And for added contex i honestly think people that judge people by the color of there skin are FUCKING stupid. Like seriously, ITS A FUCKING COLOR congrats lobotmites you judged a book by its cover and over generalized based on somthing by chance.

And i do not appreciate lumping be in with lobotomites, im fine if you disagree with my oppions and i appreciate different oppions. I think the worst world to live in is the one where its just circle jerking. And mental imbreeding of ideas.

  • currently my setup is a dsl modem that goes, to my router/WAP which is a eero, that i plan to eventually replace with a Banna pi R4 which will run openwrt. but as of now the eero goes to my 48 port in my server room, and i have all my computer jacked into that. so to answer your question, my firewall is handled by my router and individual local rules by my machines. im kinda new to self hosting and port forwarding and pfsense looks pretty useful. i know pfsense is based on freebsd so is that a big plus vs openwrt?

please let me know, what some potential solutions could be.
