Malfeasance

Malfeasance is an act that is illegal and causes physical or monetary harm to someone else. Malfeasance is intentional conduct that is wrongful or unlawful, especially by officials or public employees.

And yes, I see a great many good things done by Trudeau. But, you obviously disagree with me and I doubt anything either of us say will convince the other so we’ll just leave it at that.

Much as I do like Trudeau compared to Harper, it’s far past time for Trudeau’s actions to stand or fall on their own merits.

That said, the right-wing of Canadian politics is never going to beat Trudeau if they keep going with the insult and belittling route. They’ve done it in every election they’ve faced Trudeau in and lost every, single, time. The Conservatives should have won they last election, and blew it because the didn’t think Trudeau had the savvy or skill to come back from the blackface scandal. The truth is, Justin is an excellent political operator and usually one of the best there is in working social media.

Polievere only has a solid chance now due to a combination of voter fatigue (almost no PM makes it past 10 years) and some serious missteps by Trudeau. As far as malfeasance goes, you better have some solid proof, like in a court of law level proof, and be able to make it stick, without you sounding like a raving lunatic who is best ignored.

And apparently it’s the only reason why our population has increased.

Russian Propaganda/disinformation most likely. Trying to sow internal dissent in their opponents has become a signature Russian move.

I don’t know if it makes a difference, but I’m in Canada and I’ve noticed none of this. No video load delays, no anti ad-blocker pop ups, none of it. I’m not going to stop using Firefox or Ublock Origin though.

The day I can’t get around youtube ads is the day I stop using youtube. I already refuse to use it on my mobile device or my TV, due to the ads.

You can’t unexecute someone if you got it wrong, and the system has gotten these cases wrong more than once.

It’s actually pretty easy to permanently disable updates in Windows.

• Go to Services.msc
• Find Windows Update Services
• Changed it to Disabled

Done.

I go there only to check r/ukraine with an old throwaway account.

Good. I hope they get the book thrown at them. Their stated purpose, which they put on their website, was the overthrow of our government and it’s replacement with a junta with them forming 2/3rds of it.

Contrast this to Trump blocking disaster relief for California and Puerto Rico when he was President.

As a human being, I feel great empathy for the man and his family. I wish him nothing but the best in health and family life and am saddened to see his decline. But was someone 100% opposed to his politics I will fight endlessly to destroy both his works and his legacy even as he has worked to destroy democracy as we’ve come to know it.

Used Ubuntu for a year and while initially it was nice, I got tired of having to spend two weeks learning which magic spells to chant at my computer every time I wanted to install a given application.

I’d use Mac, except that it tries to punish you every time you go outside the Apple box. For me, Windows is the right balance of ease of use, scaling degrees of complexity, and ability to boldly go where I have no damn business going.

Your experience may vary, and that’s good, because you shouldn’t have to like what I like, and vice versa.
