Politics is certainly a popular avenue for such behavior, about as much as sports can be. Maybe more so.

Technology keeps improving, but it feels like many people want to behave like overgrown brats, or animals even, and only behave civilized when it’s convenient to them.

A man can become incel for a variety of reasons. Experiences with peers, parents divorcing, and so on.

At one point I think I could’ve ended up an incel but strangely enough being a lone wolf and having the Internet to access stopped me whereas for others they continued down that path.

From being a lone wolf type I never really dip too much into other people’s crap. And having a resource like the web allowed me to learn multiple perspectives.

If incel and simp were on a continuum, I’d prefer to be somewhere in the middle. Don’t want to sit rage and whine about what’s unfair in regards to romance, etc and go off the deep end but I certainly don’t want to be a doormat either. Life keeps teaching me that moderation is key, time and time again.

As I’ve gotten older, I realized my true issue is with narcissists and narcissism. And that’s something that knows no gender, nationality, etc.

How immature some adults my age and even older act. Not everyone mind you, but more than I would’ve expected.

It’s like some folks never mentally age past a certain point and then just double down on their worst attributes.

I’m not perfect and I have flaws, but I don’t do gossip, etc. I’ve found the best response anymore is simply to walk away from those types and or grey rock them.

Man, what a terrible way to go. I came across a video once of a diver that went too deep too fast or something like that and it screwed him up.

The guy was so deep underwater he actually wasn’t bouyant anymore. Didn’t even know that was a thing.

I think it was a fairly well known incident as well, but seeing the footage bothered me and I just pushed it out of my mind. I forgot what his name was and I’m not going to try googling the story.

There’s a multitude of nasty ways to pass into the great beyond, but having it happen underwater just creeps me out.

I’d be more concerned about brave, your own isp, tiktok. Then the whole deal with backdoors in Intel chips and running minix. Don’t remember if amd has the same deal.

Vivaldi is fine. From what I’ve seen they mainly check out things like what os I am running, things of that nature. I can live with that. Steam from valve knows my hardware too. Heck the oil shop knows my vin, mileage, make, and model, as far as my car goes. I can live with that as well.

The only knock against Vivaldi is it being closed source.

If there’s anything I’d want built in more than anything it would be vertical tabs like what the existing sideberry extension provides. I also use Vivaldi which has it native, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

Edit: and tab manager plus. Same functionality and interface but native.

The existing extensions are fine, but if they are wanting to add things already provided by a third party, those two are my must haves for a modern browsing experience.

It’s not a matter of can we, but why aren’t we? Imo, at least. They can only trap us if we let them.
