I was under the impression it was six people that were DOGE henchmen. They absolutely knew what the job was so I don’t know what you’re on about. Their names should absolutely be public knowledge.

It’s letting the perfect be the enemy of the good.
Why would Reddit care if subs disallowed links that would take their users off platform?
Gas jumped $0.40 here this week.
That also makes sense.
TikTok put up a banner saying that the app was unavailable until incoming President Trump can do something about it despite Biden saying he would not enforce the ban. And then when Trump said he would not enforce the ban they put up a welcome back banner thanking Trump.
They signaled loud and clear they’re ready to play ball. They’ll get a lot behind the scenes because they kissed the ring. I could see Bytedance selling TikTok but Trump lets them continue to collect data or some shit.
Be perfectly clear on this: These offenders have been pardoned by the person for whom they committed the acts of violence which resulted in their being arrested, charged, and/or convicted.
According to Fox News and their viewers Trump did not incite an insurrection. He told them to be peaceful and they attacked the Capitol. So he pardoned them for… Reasons?
I’m glad somebody else was wondering that!
I think just translating word by word what he says is the best way to bring across what he is trying to say anyways.
But different languages don’t always have word for word translations. And what about sentence structure? When he says things out of order how do you directly translate that to a language structured completely different from real English and his version of “English?”
I think Trump won the second that assassin missed and he did the fist pump in front of the American flag. That’s exactly the sort of shit people eat up.
Part of why I never fully believed that that wasn’t staged.
He announced he was going to be a one term president when he was running for that first term. (I know a campaign promise isn’t an announcement, but it was supposed to be common knowledge before he changed his mind.)
Stop clutching your pearls about that one. Dude is a teenager. We all know teenagers have never done stupid, impetuous things before TikTok… 🙄
Still, not 30ish digits like that person said. Hyperbole be damned.
Bank account numbers are, like, 8-10 digits. Certainly not 30ish.
Boost on Android still works if you mod any subreddits.
I’m just not stupid enough to believe the general public gives anywhere near enough of a shit about anyone else than themselves to make it work.
(Actually, I was stupid enough to believe that once. I went through a librarian phase in my 30s.)
Um… Libertarianism is authoritarianism just with corporations replacing the state.
The shoes require a subscription.
It’s nothing to do with tax revenue and everything to do with controlling the narrative through social media. More specifically the fact they couldn’t use TikTok to convince people there was no genocide in Gaza was what kicked all of this off.
Always has been.
