Funny enough I work in the opposite end of the spectrum with embedded firmware. But even I can see the value of webdev.
Web dev solves a simple UI pattern kinda elegantly for rapid development. I don’t disagree with where you’re coming from but I think your last take away is a mischaracterization of why it’s used.
RL without online is like gaming without eyesight.
Screw that.
Same. I love smelling, but against the other senses, smell is easily the least valuable.
Speak for yourself I use both controllers and kbm for my PC games. The input method isn’t really worth crying over.
I believe it’s your brain but that’s not mutually exclusive from dumb.
I run mine manually, good to know. Will check it out.
Tell me more (for real, I’m unfamiliar).
That seems to be the point being made by the person you replied to; the difference should be higher (in favor of the Steamdeck) because of the vast quantity available on Steam. The shovelware is precisely why it should be higher. I think they’re expressing surprise that the Switch even comes within the range it does, hence bringing up Switch shovelware as a possible source for this.
When windows 10 stops working is the better chance. Even then, not convinced it’ll be year of Linux.
How is this weird, whoever has the power in a transaction is able to make their demands. Goes for anything that involves an exchange. Labour, housing, goods. This isn’t insightful.
Also AI, though I’m sure that’ll be an unpopular suggestion. It really does save time though.
It’s the old geezers that don’t get it. Your irrelevance is nigh.
So my work did something like this when they moved buildings. Our old locker room was a long rectangular room with lockers on one side, a bench on the other. No privacy once you were in that space.
New one is mixed usage private change rooms and showers. It’s a huge, huge, huge downgrade on the space. So, anecdotally, not on board. The old one still had bathroom stalls and private bathrooms if you needed it. I don’t understand the push to make it all uniform when that’s not the best use for the majority of the users. I’m not sorry about this opinion.
I want shorter games, on average. 10-20 hour completion times would be right up my alley.
Modern locker rooms can be built with individual stalls so I understand the point being made. Personally though, it’s less efficient to have a locker room with multiple single-serve rooms. Extra material, extra cost, decreased functional area, additional readying time. If you use a locker room frequently you know how invaluable all those things are.
Crow Country and Chained Echoes were ready choices for me.
