    All tobacco and vape got set to 21 and over where I live so just military and adult jail as benefits of turning 18 now.

      1. Emancipated from parents
      2. Can sign contracts and take out loans
      3. Vote + run for office
      4. Work a job without a permit, age-capped hours, and on machinery deemed 18+ only for safety.
      5. Full driver’s licence instead of provisional

      There’s more, but turning 18 grants a lot of rights still.
