Its worth the watch. Its what if superman really existed. He would act like a cop on steroids.

One of its main plot points is that superheroes are been run by a huge corporation for profit, and there’s ample exploration of that theme.

And most superheroes are either straight up evil or crazy with power, money and fame.

It does some interesting things, and is worth watching the first season (which is probably the best one). After that, it feels like the show gradually drops in quality. My main problem is that it focuses less and less on the above issues, and focuses more and more on personal drama, which just feels like filler.

That seems like a trend with contemporary TV shows where there is zero desire to properly conclude a story and they just publish as mny seasons as possible.

I have watched the first three episodes today and its really fun. I think I’ll finish the season.

I’d suggest you keep going after the season finale, if you like it. It’s still enjoyable, just not as good as season 1. Season 2 is decent. Season 3 and 4 is where it gets a bit iffy for me.

Ivan Dragon was such projection too. In reality if one contender was trained in a lab with a highly researched training regimen and fixed diet, while the other was punching sides of meat in a warehouse, the American was the former.

They love to pretend to be the underdog, or the david rather than goliath.

Another one is stranger things season 1 vs season 3.

Season 1 was actually believable bc it had the bad guys as the US government kidnapping and experimenting on children to turn them into weapons and also harness the devil realm as a military weapon.

Season 3 tried to flip it into the evil soviet robotniks trying to invade the US via portals in 80s shopping malls.
