Can’t…unsee…the incorrect spelling!
I have heard it pronounced “Beyonce” by a non-native speaker. The word is a boss fight in and of itself.
Oh damn, I generally consider myself fairly decent at spelling but I’ve probably spelled buoyancy wrong every time I’ve written it.
You know, those two times. I can’t say I’m often discussing buoyancy.
Buoyancy. As in a buoy.
As a non-native, this is one of the words that make me cry.
Let me try…buoyancy?
Boats float because of their shape, Archimedes is a bitch.
-Aristotle
Boats float because an ideal boat floats, Archimedes and Aristotle are both bitches
-Plato
But what floats your goat, if not magic??
“I got my swim trunks. And my flippy floppies.”
Good thing no one risked boating before Archimedes invented bouyancy 🙏
I’d imagine people moved around using giant levers, his guess what?
I heard people used to just float around before Newton invented gravity.
But I’m not sure. I think that’s just hot air.
That’s brilliant
PS: English is not my first language so I had to confirm if “hot air” is an idiom
