Spot on. Idk how the fuck anyone could read what I wrote as an endorsement of wanton violence or whatever that weirdo thought I was saying. I basically just rephrased the old saying “you need to break some eggs to make omelettes” like bro it’s not fucking controversial that burning wood destroys the wood. Yeah the atoms continue to exist and become other things like smoke and ash but the thing they made up that was called “wood” no longer exists and won’t be coming back. You can’t mine ore out of the earth and refine it into finished metal products without irreversibly changing it and transforming it from a state we’d call “stone” to a state we’d call “tractor” or whatever the fuck. God I know I shouldn’t get this worked up over this but I have had it with the argumentative people on here.

The idea that humans and human progress are inherently destructive is a lie told by the ruling class because getting people to believe it benefits them. Among other things it absolves them of their own crimes of destruction while simultaneously blaming the rest of us and our positive traits for those crimes. To be clear, where I was using the word “them” I meant the ruling class, not people in general. I see how some of my sentences weren’t worded well.
