Because in America we believe strongly in our rights: specifically the right to tell people they don’t have the right to speak any language they want. It’s called freedom man!

But few people but a car based on emissions, so why then did SUVs become popular? Or is it the case of manufacturers wanted us to like SUVs, so they made that happen.
I see. I’m confused by this too. When I was young vans were popular and station wagons were definitely more prominent. Vans fell out of popularity presumably because they were built on a truck chassis. Minivans drove better. Station wagons also fell out of favor. I guess because they were too family truckster.
So what happens? SUVs become popular which are basically station wagons built on a truck chassis. Go figure.
I disagree. They have gotten smaller on the inside. Totally agree in that. But the rest of the vehicle is definitely larger…and heavier. Look at a corolla today vs. there 80’s. It’s the size of a Camry back in the day. Trucks and SUVs, too. They don’t fit in garages now. Remember mini trucks? Well no more.
I think to meet safety standards, they have more crumple zones. Plus they have more features, which take up space the passengers would normally use. Finally I think people just like larger vehicles. Maybe they feel safer, even if they aren’t or they like the intimidation factor. I don’t know.
Trucks are larger because of the footprint of the wheels is large enough, they have to meet different efficiency standards. But I think a lot of that was driven by manufacturer.
That’s not how I define science.
Both, depending on the task.
For instance, I have trouble taking notes while working on my car. Fingers dirty, device runs out of battery and needs power cord, no good program for combining pics and text and so on. It’s just easier to write on scratch paper.
But if I order something online, I just screen shot the receipt.
When I was a kid, an older kid peer-pressured me into smoking a cigarette. I smoked the whole thing and quickly noped out of that. Can’t believe I made the best decision of my life at the age of 6.
No, this makes perfect sense. It’s difficult to understand what he means because he keeps saying “people” should pay. If he means consumers when he says people, that would be perfectly consistent. Corporations pollute like crazy and “people” should be charged for it. That’s capitalism, right?
I have no idea. Like others I usually request the side closest to the bathroom since I go during the night more often than her. I could see it either way.
An e-bike. I used my regular bike for errands but the e-bike just made it so much easier to pedal in high winds or when I was hauling my trailer full of groceries. Plus it increased my range because I knew I could go farther in the same amount of time. I bought a class 1 e-bike so I always have to pedal, like a normal bike. Because I use it more, I think I actually get MORE exercise despite the assist. I really love it.
Boots, the higher the better.
Also long ear rings.
Nice., 🙂
Thank you for taking interest in the spelling in my post. My autocorrect kept changing things and I must have failed to properly proofread. I do, in fact, know how to spell the word. As a human, I am prone to errors from time to time. I apologize for this.
Since grammar and language are your hobby, I would suggest you spend less time online, as correcting the rampant errors in language and grammar must consume a great deal of your time. I would also like to point out that there are many people online for whom English is a second language.
As a hobbiest, I make things out of steel and aluminum. Can’t wait to pay more.
Because it’s a rescue mission, I would say yes, absolutely, rescue music FTW!
Who am I kidding, the answer to music in the car is ALWAYS yes.
I’m more of a dog person.
I use Pandora a lot. Often I’ll go to YouTube to watch the video.
So I put in a station on Pandora and when I hear a song I really like (or several I like from one artist) I put that artist in as a station on Pandora. Lather, rinse, repeat. I’ll usually find a bunch of new stuff I haven’t heard before and I’m pretty sure many of them are from little known artists because when I put their songs into YouTube, I notice they frequently have few views. Ex. Jem. Hope this isn’t too obvious.
But that’s better than nothing, right?
