I don’t think you know what “meme” means… it doesn’t mean “thing that gets posted once and never again” actually it means the exact opposite

This is the second one I came to, glad I changed… Very glad.
Ah, the Neil Peart drum kit solution
The best sin is at the beach! Why? Cos tan.
I love linear algebra! It’s one of the coolest and most satisfying maths (for me personally)
Dante’s Inferno went into detail that was not biblical, but there’s enough in the bible that writing it off completely is cherry picking.
“They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
"And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.”
"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
“And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
Because there is no downside
Sure, unless you care about LGBT+ people not being discriminated against and murdered. And unless you care about teaching strong critical thinking to avoid conspiracies including anti-vax. And unless you care about the future of the planet in the face of climate change which is largely ignored by religious people who are more focused on the next life than this one. And unless, and unless, and unless…
There are tons of downsides.
As the only way in which the human condition can be contextualised is in a world that is created, and religions are the keepers of that knowledge.
Yeah no, we can contextualize with rational thought, it’s just that more work needs to be done that has historically been stifled by religion considering they have historically killed people who didn’t go along with them. Religions don’t have some monopoly on knowledge in this field, what they have is some shit they just made up, some of which works, and a lot of which doesn’t. But they have no methodology by which to test which parts work and which don’t so they just push all of them regardless.
The public who would otherwise care so much about this nightmare that we keep barrelling towards… people who use that “frustration with extremists” are just justifying to themselves what they would have done anyway, which is nothing.
That’s what they said… they said they had bad feet from years of wearing those shitty shoes.
The fact that you don’t understand that you’re NOT saying the same thing… is pretty sad. Not sure if it’s because you have poor reading comprehension or that you’re just so clearly emotionally invested in this that you can’t see it clearly, but either way, it’s pretty sad.
And you explained all of that WITHOUT THE OBNOXIOUS GODDAMNS and FUCKIN SCIENCE AMIRITEs
Down with specificity! We want the confusion that arises from ambiguity! Things were confusing in my day and I will not put up with people being able to understand each other! Harrumph to you good sir! A harrumph and another harrumph for good measure!
He bought it because even though he has more money than he could ever spend, all his small mind craves is other losers thinking he’s cool. He was granted extra money when he bought it by people who hated the fact Twitter was used to support revolution in the Middle East and wanted to ensure if that ever happened again, they would control the person who could shut it down.
Some of those seem a bit reaching. Will and Mike, seriously?
Many of them are religious and believe plenty of things they didn’t directly observe. It’s more that they have been trained through religious thinking that if someone confidently claims something it must be more true than someone who honestly admits that “it is the best we can know right now and we will update our understanding as we obtain more evidence.” These people need the answer now and that answer can’t change because changing your opinion based on new evidence is seen as weakness and opinions should be handed down from on high and never change.
Except that it is a proven fact that public health care costs less per capita than private, so actually it sounds less expensive. The people lobbying to keep it private are the only ones who stand to lose and their brainwashed army of sycophants can’t understand anything beyond the points they’ve been trained to parrot.
I selected mechanical engineering because when I looked through the required courses it had the most math courses and the fewest english and communications type courses out of all of the available engineerings.
knowing 4chan it’s just as likely this is someone from 4chan trolling next thing you know they’re going to be blowing up vans or something
Which is short sighted considering it is much easier to make a standardized library for converting time zones than it is to make a standard library reflecting what different time numbers mean in different places around the world. If they somehow convinced people to make the change, they would find out pretty quickly they were better off with the devil they knew.
