Young people are less likely to vote than old people, and old people are more likely to be conservative. But even if that wasn’t the case, more people voting is always better for a society.

Came scrolling for this ^^
That’s why open source rules
Stop down voting him, he’s right. Earth day is on April 22, so we would need to shrink earths population to a third in order to make our current way of living sustainable… (Shrink the rich first)
500$ for a Windows license just to have it not have bloat preinstalled? Hmm pass XD
What I’m hearing is that people have an inert desire for privacy, EVEN if they don’t have anything to hide (what are you hiding in the toilet?) I don’t see why that wouldn’t extend into the digital realm…
Everytime someone says they don’t have anything to hide I ask them what the pin of their phone is and to give me their phone. Suddenly that’s something different…
Just give me your phone and password then. Surely you won’t mind me going through your pictures and texts while streaming on twitch.
Both are in the arms business. They make money from war.
Not the end
True. But assuming I’m part of that population statistically I’d be shot after at most 400 days. Definitely not a population I’d wanna live in.
Birthrate in the US is about 1.1% per year. You’d need a lot of immigrants to replace the workforce.
Maybe there’s a group of people who get shot more than once, and they get included multiple times. That would skew the statistic.
So after 400 days everyone is dead?
It actually was in base-1.5 (secret nazi tech made this possible)
Can you tell us more about the implant? Is it painful to install? Is it uncomfortable to wear? Where do have it? What other things is it useful for?
I don’t think you use the term Turing test properly. Do you mean Turing complete?
Konrad Zuse actually invented the computer at the same time as Turing, and in complete intellectual isolation from Turing.
It’s an honor meeting you tips hat
Not necessarily half them. You can inform your guess by looking at sports betting odds. Maybe a weak team is playing against a strong one? Then your split could be 30/70 instead of 50/50
Yeah and there’s just as many paid for programs with the same issues… What’s your point? Want me to show you some open source programs that are polished? Heard of blender before? That’s not the point I was making anyway… The issue with non foss software is that you have ZERO control over it. Big corporations can decide to drop support at any moment or make a free tier paid.
