According to an affidavit cited by the DOJ from Charles Hollon, who works in the Public Safety Department’s Judicial Threats Assessment Unit, there are 275 single space pages worth of transcribed threatening messages and voicemails which have been left for Engoron and his court staff since early October.

I can’t understand why these people aren’t arrested and charged with making terroristic threats. They can obviously find them - WE can obviously find them. Letting this flap in the wind like they’ve done for so many years is stupid and dangerous.

I don’t know the people making terroristic threats to judges don’t seem like terrorists. Now those eco protestors trying to prevent the clear cutting of a forest to build a training city for cops in Atlanta. Now those are some really terroristy terrorists.

That guy sitting cross-legged in his tent camping out there… shot dozens of times by police… and the police didn’t have ANY video of it? Yeah, that guy is super worse than the ones actually making death threats against court staff, witnesses*, and judges named and doxxed by Trump And Co. I can’t even how much worse the Anti Cop City* guy was just sitting there in his tent. Who TF did* that guy even think he was…?

Donald Trump’s lawyers on Friday filed a response to prosecutors’ Thursday filing, arguing that any threats the former president could have triggered against Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron or his court staff are ‘irrelevant’ to the need for a gag order in the case Trump faces in Washington, D.C.,” The Messenger reports.

They’re actually arguing that he has a right to threaten court staff?

At some point I think the lawyers know it sounds absolutely ridiculous, but they’re still obligated to defend their client. This seems like it’s past that point.

Something about filing on Thanksgiving just feels particularly spiteful, and I’m here for it.

I hope he had an awful day, and I hope his servants spit in his food.

You guys gotta accept that it’s not gonna happen. At most he’s gonna be found guilty, and he’ll fight appeals until he dies of a big Mac overdose. America putting a billionaire, old, white, ex president in jail? Come on, it’s not gonna happen. It should, but it won’t

he is not and never has been a billionaire. Full fucking stop. Yes with all of his assets it tallies up to billies but guess what - HE FUCKING LIED IN THEIR EVALUATIONS.

A New York judge ruled that the former president exaggerated the Florida property’s value when he said it’s worth at least $420 million and perhaps $1.5 billion. Judge Arthur Engoron found that Trump consistently exaggerated Mar-a-Lago’s worth. He noted that one Trump estimate of the club’s value was 2,300% times the Palm Beach County tax appraiser’s valuations, which ranged from $18 million to $37 million.

Oh but I’m sure he didn’t lie about any other valuations!

I joke about starting an GoFundMe to get trump an unlimited supply of bigmacs; so that he’d kill himself faster.

part of me is serious about that.

You are right, but maybe not for the reasons you think. If it ever reaches a point where Trump is convicted and believes he is going to go to prison, he will probably kill himself. Narcissists are prone to suicide.

Suicide risk is not rare in patients with narcissism, particularly in the context of severe narcissistic injury, where the patient feels shamed and/or vilified. In conclusion, narcissistic patients are difficult to treat, but the risk of suicide makes it imperative for clinicians to stay involved in the treatment and assist the patient in understanding their vulnerabilities.
